Clayton is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®), and a Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA®). Clayton is also registered with the Series 7 (General Securities Registered Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law). Finally, Clayton is a Licensed Insurance Producer, Licensed as a Life, Disability, Long-Term Care & Health Insurance.

Clayton graduated from Michigan Technological University (2000) with a Bachelors Degree in Finance & Minor in Communications. He has also completed a Certificate of International Business (French language).

Personal:
My wife, Melissa, our daughters, Celine (born January 2014) and Kristen (born August 2015), my sons Jacob (born September 2017) and Thomas (born February 2020), and Isaac (born 2023) and I live in Oakland Township. We were married August of 2010, and our lives have been more & more blessed with each passing year. Melissa is an Employment Immigration Attorney. She also teaches at Rochester College as an Adjunct Professor.

My family and I are proud followers of Jesus. Our faith serves as the foundation of how we make decisions daily. We are very involved with Kensington Church, and I'm especially passionate about acting for their Drama Team since 2007. I have been participating & leading Men's Small Groups, focused on accountability & spiritual growth since 2004. I also teach on the Fundamentals of Financial Giving, explaining the spiritual foundations related to the acts of tithing & giving.  

I grew up in Harrison Township, MI, in a family of 7 kids. My family spreads across the US, to include Colorado, Utah, Florida, as well as Toronto, Canada. My father, Dr. Henry Winkler, passed away in 2009, after serving as a Medical Doctor for over 45 years.

Clayton is Founder & President of a Non-Profit Charity 501(c)(3); Dogtags4Jesus, creating Dogtags with Scripture.

Clayton served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He served as a Counter-Intelligence Analyst (97G). He also served as a Finance Detachment Executive Officer in Taegue, South Korea.

Clayton coached Wrestling at Denver West H.S., Rochester H.S., & ROC Wrestling Club.

One of Clayton's Bucket List Goal is to Run a Marathon (having run 3 Half-Marathons).  Another of his goals is to own and fly a plane.
